Our Mini Holiday @ Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur

Well since exams are over >.< Boyfie and I plan a little trip to pamper ourselves (actually its for me)
Thanks to Bangsarbabe for the giveaway. We have a list to do during this for December till April 2013 ^^
Will blog about the giveaway as soon as I got the pictures from boyfie's camera.

Ok back to our mini Holiday.
We always drove past Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur whenever we wanna visit Pavilion and we never knew we get a chance to stay a night there well partly is because we are staying in Kuala Lumpur so there is no reason for us to get a hotel room in Kuala Lumpur.

Check-in counter.

Check-In time is at 2pm however we are required to wait for another 1 hour and 1/2 half to get our room key because the room is not ready yet.
Piece of advice, if you arrived earlier than 2pm, try to go to the counter and register first and wait for the check in.
Boyfie and I actually arrived 2 hours earlier and we thought we can check in at 2pm and get our room straight.
We spent our 2 hours walking around in Fahrenheit 88, Lot 10 and Pavilion (mere steps away)
and
grab our lunch as well.
Oh yes, complimentary parking for in-house guest at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur.

 Waiting area

So while waiting for our room to be ready, I decided to do what I do best.
SNAPPING PICTURES.

Spotted a Gingerbread man House
Lol Santarina organizing the cookies inside.

A miniture Ginger Bread House for you bring home >.<
Rm38++
They have various christmas gifts and souvenir displayed to be sold there, didn't manage to take their pictures because santarina kept looking at me so I runaway LOL

A wide glance at the lobby of a Five star Hotel

After waiting for 1 hour, we decided to go ask the lady at that check in counter, whether our room is ready, fortunately it was so we manage to skip 30 minutes of waiting.

Our Deluxe Room

The bed is super comfyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I forgot to take the picture of the bathroom though.
They have a bathtub and a separate shower

We dropped our bags and shower and have a little nap.

Woke up around 7pm and we drove out to have our dinner.

We wanted to have our dinner at 7atenine, The Ascott. However when we reach there, we only got to know that the restaurant was closed for a private event  T.T
So we drove away and had our dinner at Souled Out, Ampang.
Boyfie ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which is spelled as Chicken Cordon "Blurred" on their menu.
(Picture stolen from boyfie camera)

As usual boyfie would take pictures of his food.

For my part, erm I didn't bothered.. Was too hungry to snap pictures.
I ordered the classic Margarita Pizza.
Finished the whole pizza myself LOL.

Boyfie drove back to the hotel after our dinner, since we are staying a night only, we decided to stay in and rest.

Our Room was at the highest floor of the hotel which is the 19th Floor.
It has a great view of the KL tower however my camera was sucky.
so this is the only few shots that I had.

We had wine too as we watch tv together...
Decided to buy it while we were shopping around in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

We watched tv till we're tired on bed and doze off .

The next day, we had our complimentary breakfast at The Mill, a buffet restaurant in Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur. It's the place where all the other hotel guests have their breakfast as well.
I quite enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The choices for breakfast were simple and nice.
They have a variety of cheese, pastries, nasi lemak, american breakfast(ham, omelette, sausages, red beans),Congee, cereal, and even yogurt.

Good thing about their breakfast is that, it starts as early from 6.30am to 10.30am

We woke up at 6am for breakfast.

After breakfast, boyfie suggested we walk around Jalan Bukit Bintang before we head back to our room.
I was relunctant...
well its because I wore Pajamas for breakfast.

He was like "Come la.. How often do you get to wear your PJ out and walk around like this "

so yea after listening to him.
I did walk out with my Pjs with him.
T.T

After walking, we headed back to our room and get ready for check out.

Overall, it was a nice and pleasant stay at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur.
The best part about the hotel is the location where the shopping malls are located in walking distance.
The bed was really comfortable.
Also the breakfast was good.

Cons.
The process of waiting for the room to be ready after checking in and the late check-out time they gave us was kinda early.

Also I swear I will never walk out  of my house in my PJs like this again.

Haha you should! Its pretty fun even though you live in KL, the feeling its different ! Fun part about it , you can just walk out at night really nearby for snacks and coffee too instead of driving out
