Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur

Hello Everybody!

So sorry for the lack of updates of my personal life lately. I am still in the midst of searching for my "Perfect Career" . Many of my friends told me that, it is impossible to find a "100%" of what I would like in my job-scope, ask me not to be choosy and just accept the job and try. However I do not want to accept an offer just for the sake of having a job, I want a career.
The career that I want  may not have to be 100% of what I want but I am still looking forward for a job that I enjoy doing it and look forward to my workplace to learn and explore.

Anyways here is a mini blog on boyfie's birthday celebration at a Hotel Maya, Kuala Lumpur.

We decided to do something different. Last year, I took him out for a dinner at a fancy restaurant with his birthday gift. This year, we rather spend it on nice hotel stay so that we can have more time being together and relax.

After researching online, we chose to have his Birthday weekend at Hotel Maya, Kuala Lumpur.

Here are the few reason why we chose to stay at Hotel Maya, Kuala Lumpur.

1. His Birthday was on the 2nd of March, and so happen the nuffnang party was on the same day
so we want a hotel to be nearby.

2. After reading the Hotel Maya review stay from Bangsarbabe.com, we totally want to stay there.

3. We wanted something cozy and homey feel alike and Hotel Maya has it.

4. The Hotel provides DVD for Hotel Guest to rent for free. (How thoughtful)

5. The price of the rooms are quite reasonable and they meet our budget.

Our Junior Suite.

Unfortunately most of the Junior suites that has the KLCC view was fully booked that day so we only managed to get the room that was facing the KL tower . The birthday weekend was a last minute plan so if you really want a nice view for your room, be sure to called in and ask or booked early!

Natural Soaps and Body Lotions from Anggun Spa

A really huge bathtub

The bathtub was really comfortable. Compare to many hotels that we stayed, somehow I find this bathtub is much more easier for me to rest my neck. Oh yes, free WIFI too!
So basically I was fb-ing and chatting using my phone in the bathtub most of the time.

Boyfie and I totally love the coffee machine provided!
At first, the coffee machine that we had in the room was malfunction, so boyfie called the room service guy to send someone to change the coffee machine and it took them around 15 minutes just  to come and change. Quick service!

Then while waiting for the time to past before getting ready to the party, we decided to head to the pool for a swim.

The Hotel Maya's swimming pool was located on the 3rd floor!
It's a indoor swimming pool so I am protected from the sun!
Yay!
I still remember when I stayed in Awana Genting Resort, the pool was outdoor and I got bikini tanned. Not funny at all.

A heated hydrotherapy pool, comfortably heated to body temperature . Its sort of like a jacuzzi but only bigger.

Also there is a Sky Lounge on the 13th floor, where hotel guest can enjoy a spectacular view of the KLCC. Hotel guest are also provided with free snacks and a choice of tea or coffee from 9 to 11pm. We were unable to come back the Sky Lounge on time for the snacks
T.T
No cakes for me.
Should have left the Nuffnang birthday bash earlier.

Though we did not make it on time to come back for the snacks, we did pay a little visit just to catch the night view.

Breakfast at Maya Brassiere

Cheese!

Pastries

Fresh omelette prepared on the spot.
Usually I would ask the chef to put more cheese in my omelette!

I love the breakfast at Maya Brassiere! At first we thought the choices for the buffet was really few, until we saw someone across the table ordering by holding a white paper thingy.

Little did we know, this white paper thingy is a menu that is included for the breakfast buffet as well. It is an ala-carte menu so besides taking food from the usual food stations, you can order main dishes for your breakfast as well.

I really hope the hotel staff would at least let us know that there is an ala carte menu when they ask us for coffee or tea.

Minute Steak

I ordered the Minute Steak. It is a panfried minute steak with wood scented rosemary, served with mushroom sauce. The portion of the steak is just right. The meat was chewy and juicy. If I only I've discover the menu earlier, I would order a second plate.

Broiled Salmon with Asparagus

Boyfie ordered the Broiled Salmon with Asparagus, did not managed to taste this because I was really full after I ate my steak.

Birthday boy looking happy with his birthday prezzie on his left hand.

Though this was a short stay at Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur, we really enjoyed our stay with the Dvd Rental, Big Bathtub, and Yummy Quality breakfast.
Its a really nice get together getaway weekend.
